What our attendees are saying

REGISTER FOR BIRTH BOOTCAMP
  • Yes! This class is not just for first time moms but anyone who wants to better prepare for birth. We’ve actually had many attendees come due to lack of preparation/poor education surrounding their first birth experience and specifically complimented how Birth Bootcamp helped them feel way more prepared for their second birth!

  • Birth Bootcamp is for anyone expecting a baby! A home birth, hospital birth, or even at a birth center (we’ve had moms from every background!). If you’re planning a home birth this course is even more valuable to learn pain management strategies and movement through labor to optimize baby’s position, reduce tearing, and reduce transfer to a hospital for pain management or stalling of labor.

  • We actually go over a lot of pregnancy related and postpartum material in birth bootcamp - NOT just planning for a vaginal birth. Many of our exercises, positions, and pain management techniques can be used in pregnancy to help aches and pains during pregnancy and optimize pelvic and baby positioning in pregnancy. We also cover breastfeeding and postpartum recovery like scar management (vaginal AND c/section scars), pressure for postpartum to protect incision, return to exercise, peeing/pooping/return to intercourse postpartum, and more. So totally still relevant!

  • Totally fine either way! We’ve had mamas come alone, with their sister or mom, or their best friend - whoever you feel comfortable brining with you as an extra set of ears to learn and practice some hands on techniques with.

  • This class is taught in the beautiful outdoor pavilion at Swamphead Brewery to provide optimal space for us to practice various techniques and move around. We DO encourage bringing a yoga mat as we are practicing stretches and exercises, as well as any birth ball (big round ball AND/OR peanut ball) as we will demonstrate how to use those. If you dont have them no worries - we always bring extras!
